

Graduates of the Diploma Three (D3) Mechanical Engineering program have competencies covering Design Engineering, Production Engineering and Maintenance and Repair Engineering. This is in detail, namely having the competence to operate machine tools, both conventional and CNC, selection of engineering materials and production processes, then have the competence to design products and machine components, CAD/CAM programs, and machine drawings, and have the competence to repair & recondition industrial machines, heat engines, fluid engines, installation drawings and maintenance management.
The machining laboratory is a place for learning / practice / student skills training in the form of making semi-finished materials into formed (finished) materials. The machining laboratory is equipped with several machines including: Flat lathes, milling machines (milling), cylinder grinding machines, surface grinding machines, hobbing machines, ordinate boring machines, universal drilling machines, cutting tool sharpening grinding machines (grinding tools), engraving machines, EDM machines and pedestal grinding machines.
